Telework

Leidos promotes flexible work arrangements, like telework, to improve employee work-life balance while also reducing its environmental impacts by decreasing the number of trips employees make to Leidos Global Headquarters. Telework saves time, stress, commute costs, and supports a healthier environment.

Bus

Sit back, relax, and let someone else drive you to work. Taking the bus can help reduce stress instead of sitting behind the wheel, and it is an affordable choice, as all one-way rides on Fairfax Connector buses are just $2 per ride, and RIBS rides are $1.80. Additionally, fares are often discounted or even free when transferring to the Metro or another bus.

Located less than a half-mile away from Reston Town Center Transit Station, you have access to various bus routes, connecting you to places throughout Reston and the greater D.C. Metro Area.

Bike

Take a break from behind-the-wheel and commute to work on two wheels instead of four. Surrounded by bike-friendly sidewalks and dedicated bike lanes for cyclists to enjoy, Leidos Global Headquarters is a bike-friendly site. Leidos provides amenities to support employees who arrive by bike, with a secure, covered bike room in the garage and a self-serve bike maintenance and repair station. Leidos provides an on-site bike rental program to all employees to help you get around and stay healthy. The Bikeshare program is free and operates on a first-come-first-service basis. Renting a bike for a lunch-time errand or taking a spin around Reston Town Center is easy, even if you do not own a bike.

Carpool

Carpooling to work offers several benefits, including cutting your commute costs, reducing wear and tear on your car, and helping alleviate the stress of driving by sharing the burden with someone else. Thanks to Commuter Connections, it is easier than ever to find carpool matches. Commuter Connections operates a regional database where commuters can enter their home and work locations to find a potential match for a carpool. Another advantage to carpooling is that it allows you to take advantage of HOV lanes on I-66 and Dulles Toll Road, as well as take the Express Lanes for free on I-495, I-395 and I-95.
